Cola Johnson did this one and I am mightily impressed. Click for lots of images and details on how it was done. She also set up Spoonflower patterns for both the police box sign and the pull-to-open sign so that the fonts, kerning, etc. would be right. These are now available for your own project, should you need them.
barcode1019 posted this wonderful quilt that their friend got for her birthday:
I very much approve! If this keeps up, I’ll have to start a “quilts” category.
I schedule my posts in advance, but RJ Williams is innovating so fast, he’s shorting out my posting cycle. No sooner do I post his 2.0 version quilt than he’s letting me know about version 3.0.
Yes, I made an even bigger one this time! Check it out, and let me now what you think. This one has the exploding Tardis, all the sonic screwdrivers, two 8-bit hearts, and more! Again, love the site!
That’s very nice (and thank you!) because I love the quilt. Now I have to have one for Christmas. Please? Please? Pretty please? Or a deal? The family member who gets me this gets gets gripe-free favors and chores for a year. Whaddya say?
RJ Williams has been in touch. He let me know that the quilt featured not too long ago is now redesigned. I can verity that it contains 41% more cool, which I did not think possible.
Christmas is coming, you know …
Aren’t these dorables? This post features a care package for a friend, the centerpiece of which is a fantastic quilt. See the article for the rest of the goodies.

Lots more pictures in the article. Love this! Please feel free to gift me this at any major life milestone. My 50th is coming up, you know … yet there/s still enough time to make a quilt. At a leisurely pace.
